Terms of Service

The short version: FormsSent is a free tool provided as-is. You own what you create with it, you are responsible for keeping copies of your important documents, and you should double-check invoices before sending them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using FormsSent.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

FormsSent provides free, browser-based tools for building forms, creating invoices, and generating QR codes. The Service runs on your device, and your content is stored in your own browser — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Your content

You own the forms, invoices, QR codes, logos, and other content you create or upload. You are responsible for that content, including making sure you have the right to use any logo or material you upload and that your invoices comply with any laws that apply to your business.

4. Your responsibilities

Backups: Your data is stored only in your browser and can be lost if browser data is cleared or your device fails. Keep printed or PDF copies of anything important.
Accuracy: Invoice totals, taxes, and other calculations are provided as a convenience. Review every document for accuracy before sending it to a customer.
Lawful use: Do not use the Service to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful documents or QR codes, or to infringe anyone's rights.

5. No professional advice

The Service and its templates are provided for general convenience and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your business.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stored data will never be lost.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FormsSent and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed fifty dollars ($50) or the amount you paid us to use the Service (currently zero), whichever is greater.

8. Intellectual property

The FormsSent name, logo, website design, and software are our property and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service itself, though you are free to use everything you create with it.

9. Changes to the Service and these terms

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms; the effective date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
